Caribou Lighthouse
John hiked the Skyline Trail, the most popular trail in Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
Cliffs overlook the rugged coast of the Gulf of St. Lawrence along with views of the Cabot Trail Highway.
John did not encounter or see any moose. There was an area that was fenced to keep the moose out to study how they affect the vegetation.
Wild roses grow everywhere in Nova Scotia. We've seen more roses in one day here than we've seen in our combined life times.
Wild roses in yards, in fields, and along the roads of all sizes.
On one of "back road" travels, the patches of wild roses were taller than our truck. All in full bloom.
